The first age is the baroque.Baroque is fashion style that was prevalent from the late 14th century to the early 17th century in Europe. Baroque is the period in history that used clothes, buildings and artifacts to astonish and impress. This period was followed by Rococo. This was a period in the 1700s in Europe when French culture was dominant influence throughout Europe. Furniture grew softer and less massive, discarding earlier stiffness in the bearings.
The rococo period was the period of enlightenment philosophers. The philosophers cherished not only reason but nature, not only thought but feeling. They were of the deep opinion that the source of wholesome, vigorous sense lay in sentiment and sentimentality. Reason and sentiment, the return to nature, and the cult of simplicity were and still are the dominant forces of fashion or relaxed outlook.Theiridea of happiness was sentimental, peacefulness, social and private.
